Producers
Farmers are called stewards of the land, because of the close connection that they have with the land. Their livelihood and way of living depends on their ability to use the land. Therefore it is in the farmers’ best interest to help protect the land because they rely on it.
Also part of being a good land steward is to improve the environment, through many different farming practices. Farmers are doing their best to be stewards of the land through conservation, preservation and moderation of use of resources.
Chefs
In the world of culinary arts, chefs who are International leaders, are driving change through the following focus. These areas are fast becoming trends for the future of food.
Growing their own fruit and vegetables
Sustainability
Ethical sourcing of food
Zero Waste
Health and wellness in menu design
Plant-based cuisine ,where vegetables are taking centre stage on the menu and meat and fish are treated as a ‘side’ on the plate
Chef self-care and positive kitchen culture.

Enterprise
An environmental enterprise is an environmentally friendly/compatible business. Specifically, an environmental enterprise is a business that produces value in the same manner which an ecosystem does, neither producing waste nor consuming unsustainable resources. In addition, an environmental enterprise rather finds alternative ways to produce one’s products instead of taking advantage of animals for the sake of human profits.
To be closer to the goal of being an environmentally friendly company, some environmental enterprises invest their money to develop or improve their technologies which are also environmentally friendly. In addition, environmental enterprises usually try to reduce global warming, so some companies use materials that are environmentally friendly to build their stores. They also set in place regulations that are environmentally friendly. All these efforts of the environmental enterprises can bring positive effects both for nature and people. The concept is rooted in the well-enumerated theories of natural capital, the eco-economy and cradle to cradle design.
Schools
Children are the Stewards of the Earth, we will give children opportunities to be connected to the natural world, educating them to become ecologically literate citizens who have a sense of ownership and stewardship of the earth.
Research is showing us the powerful positive impact on the health and well-being of children when they are connected to their environments. Environmental educators in particular have been instrumental in creating awareness, programs, and opportunities for children of all ages to connect with the natural world, knowing that our future depends on ecologically literate citizens who will have a sense of ownership and stewardship of the earth.
Enable children to connect frequently with the natural world.
Opportunities for children to visit local Organic Farms.
Education on the the local Biodiversity & Region.

Government
There are 3 types of environmental stewards: doers, donors, and practitioners. Doers go out and help the cause by taking action. For example, the doers in an oil spill would be the volunteers that go along the beach and help clean up the oil from the beaches. A donor is the person that financially helps the cause. They can do anything from donating their money, to hosting public events to raise funds.
They are typically governmental agencies. Lastly there are practitioners. They work on a day-to-day basis to steer governmental agencies, scientists, stakeholder groups, or any other group toward a stewardship outcome. Together these 3 groups make up environmental stewards and with the help keep the ecosystem running healthily. Anybody can be an environmental steward by being aware and knowledgeable of the world around them and making sure they do as little as possible to negatively impact our world. Without these groups it would be hard to get any sort of sustainability in our increasingly industrially based world
The EU System
